Hey, I’m Jessica! I’m currently based in New York, but live part-time out of the year in California and would be willing to permanently relocate. I enjoy learning new technologies and have an extensive background collaborating and communicating in team environments.

Most recently, I co-created Bubble (https://bubble-framework.github.io/), an open-source framework that aims to shorten developer feedback loops by automating the deployment of dynamic front-end preview apps using multiple AWS services, GitHub Actions, and Node.js.

Thanks for taking the time to read my short blurb, would love to chat about open opportunities!

Hi, I'm Andrew!

Most recently, I co-created and built Bubble, an open-source preview app solution for dynamic front-end applications, by working closely with a distributed team of 4 engineers in the US and UK. You can read our case study here: https://bubble-framework.github.io/case-study.

I'm looking for a back-end role and am hoping to work as part of a collaborative team focused on solving problems and helping each other grow as software engineers.

Location: Canberra, Australia.

Remote: Only if the whole team is remote and the company is set up for it; otherwise I’d prefer to be in the office at least 3 days a week. I work Tuesday-Friday.

Willing to relocate: No. I have chickens.

Résumé: https://github.com/johnnydecimal/resume

You may know me on the internet as Johnny.Decimal [0]. I now live in Canberra and am looking for a role in the data world: think data architect, PM on a data-focussed project, that sort of thing. Alternatively I think I’d run a great PMO: imagine project artefacts liberated from Word documents, given their rightful status as database records. Mmm, nice.

I’d prefer something local and in-person but hey, this is HN. Who knows who’s out there. I’ve just done 7 years contracting with a massive systems integrator and am looking for something different.

12+ years experience as a software engineer in small but growing companies, working on medical research, web applications, and data analysis. The last years I've been building pipelines for data scientists and bioinformaticians, with a focus on automation, data quality and reproducability. I'm interested in continuing down this path of working with (data) scientists, but open for suggestions. Send me an email, and let's chat!

Hi, I'm a full stack dev who mostly likes to work on a frontend. I'm quite experienced with Angular, although now I'm focused on getting more formal experience with React/Next.js. I have experience working in medium-sized teams and building large web apps that consume external APIs and internal microservices. I also have experience with mobile apps built with web tech (mostly Ionic).
