I'm interested in challenging technical problems and working in new spaces where solutions are not obvious.

I created the technology that powered visual mobile session recording and playback on Android and iOS for a major analytics company (including novel privacy features), helped a major entertainment company move their games to the web, and have worked virtually everywhere in the stack - bare metal to scale.

Technologies: Can learn really quickly so this isn't a problem, I'm definitely keen to learn for the job depending on language, languages I want to work with are OCaml, Haskell, Rust, Go, C and C++.

About: Been programming since 11ish, started with Pascal, I've done a massive variety of things since then, from Parsers with Haskell to GUIs with Qt. Currently I am a Masters student studying Distributed Algorithms(Paxos, Raft, Snapshots, Exclusion, Leader Election etc.)

I am really looking for internships that will allow me to work on interesting/challenging problems.

I find distributed algorithms quite interesting and I do my own research into these topics as well.

I'm an expert engineer and data professional interested in consulting and architecting data pipelines. At Edmunds.com, I worked on a fairly successful ad-tech product and my team bootstrapped a data pipeline using Spark, Databricks, and microservices built with Java, Python, and Scala.

These days, I consult for a "new media" company you probably heard of and, over the past year, I re-built an ETL Kubernetes stack, including data loaders and extractors that handle >10,000 API payload extractions daily. More recently, I helped migrate said stack to Google serverless cloud functions.

Technologies: Initially self taught I dropped out of a 5yr Industrial Engineering program for a position w/ COBOL training for a telco. Have IBM RPG training and some Java experience (mostly adding and modifying APIs).

Open for junior positions in any other languages (mostly done Python outside the COBOL/RPG/Java) or a move to proper big iron.

I mostly want to move to a more modern organization with modern dev practices and more agile way of working. Any opportunities to move in that direction are welcome.
