Blue Canvas | Senior Engineer | SF, Berlin, Remote (EU timezones)| https://bluecanvas.io

We make developer tools for low code programmers. We were shocked to learn that Salesforce devs and admins build impressively complex applications without any kind of source control or CI! The market is growing fast as more companies embrace “low code” platforms like Salesforce ($13B was spent customizing Salesforce in 2017).

We’ve reached profitability working with initial customers like Sysco, Twilio and Slack. We admire companies like Basecamp, Mailchimp and Atlassian who grew mostly with customer revenue. We partner with https://www.indie.vc/ and want to be high revenue per employee.

We’re looking for an experienced Python engineer to take a senior role working with our CTO in Berlin. The position is remote friendly. As an early member of a tight nit team, you will have meaningful impact on everything we do: code, architecture, infrastructure, team and culture.

We're excited about you if you have experience in some of the following:

- Python 3

- AWS, Terraform, Docker

- Nice to have: Vue.js, Typescript, Apollo GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, GitLab

Email jobs@bluecanvas.io if you're interested.

Quantum Imaging | Senior Software Engineer or Software Architect | REMOTE (US only)

Quantum Imaging is a private radiology practice with a small team of software engineers (8 including myself) building products to support our 75+ physicians and for sale to similar groups. We are based in central Pennsylvania but are hiring remote (US only, no sponsorship) as long as you can operate during our core hours of 9am - 3pm Eastern.

Current projects include beta testing a greenfield application that recently completed beta development, transitioning an older .NET Framework application to a handful of services, and experimenting with Docker/Traefik (see tech stack info below). Future projects include additional service development, at least one additional greenfield application, and a couple possible ML use cases.

Most of us are full-stack but there is opportunity to specialize in one thing over others (UI design, reporting, interfaces, etc.) if you want to. The team is extremely low turnover, no resignations/reassignments/terminations in the two years I've been here or several years prior, and the team has grown from 3 to 8 during my time. Great work/life balance, PTO allowance, and benefits. I can count on one hand the number of weeks I've worked more than 40 hours and it's always been by choice because I'm trying to solve some interesting puzzle :)

Direct hire preferred but can do a short-term contract as well. My contact info is in my profile if this sounds interesting to you, please include your HN username!

Backend: .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, MongoDB

Frontend: Vue JS, .NET Razor (MVC)

Other: RabbitMQ, Docker, Traefik, gRPC, Azure, SSRS, Tableau

GooseChase | Senior Full Stack Engineer | REMOTE: North American timezones | https://www.goosechase.com

GooseChase is a successfully bootstrapped web and mobile platform for creating and facilitating scavenger hunts. Through our website, organizers create custom "hunts" for anything from on-boarding new employees, touring museums, educating students and more! Participants can compete as teams or individuals to submit photo/video, text or GPS based missions through our native Android and iOS apps.

We've grown quite a lot this year and are looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer that will take major ownership of our back-end going forward. We've historically been a Django monolith (React front-end), but are increasingly moving towards breaking that up into microservices (mostly with node) to better handle our growing engineering team and load.

Our posting can be found at https://www.goosechase.com/careers/full-stack-engineer/

If you love working on something fun, but challenging, we'd love for you to apply at careers@goosechase.com, or email me directly at andrew[at]goosechase[dot]com.

We used to be a successful digital agency specializing in creating fintech products for our partners, and now, we've taken our award-winning team and are building something to bring to market ourselves. Our team of roughly 40 (and growing) is building a product for financial protection, putting a new spin on traditional insurance, with the support of expert partners who have hundreds of years of experience in the industry.

We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure/Deployment Engineer to join our team in either our Dumbo, Brooklyn or Raleigh/Durham, NC offices, as our first dedicated infrastructure hire and member of our cross-functional Platform team, helping us to design and implement our initial production infrastructure and supporting deployment of our core Ruby on Rails API/backend services and internal tools.
