Not criticizing you in any way, I get where you are going with this. It's more difficult to be an "explorer" today, just because information is so easily available. The hours spent in figuring something out, and the satisfaction you got once you figured it out doesn't exist anymore in most of our daily use cases.

But I'll also say this - you're saying you dont want to try anything too complex, you dont want to try building anything new. That almost sounds like you are looking for cheap dopamine, and there are platforms that were created exactly for that. Interesting problems will always make their way towards those who are looking for it.
