Need a consultant, strategic thinking, architecture or related tech advice, coaching/ mentoring for you or your team? Need governance improvement?

How could we work together? An hour, a couple of hours or something more regular but flexible/fractional? I am looking for part hours, or retainers, or work toward fully moving into a consulting / advisory capacity

Let’s figure out how to work together.

I have 20+ years solving business problems and maximising opportunities through technology in a variety of industries internationally.

My core skills are in strategy, enterprise architecture, technology architecture, consulting and advice, agile, team leadership, coaching and mentoring. Can do operating model work.

I am currently a Principal Architect. I operate in strategic advisory and technology architecture with many years in architecture and technology in the private and public sector. I know how to use enterprise architecture frameworks, practices and principles from concept stage to delivery in order to execute on strategy and how to work with product and development teams to set direction and manage product evolution.

I am a seasoned C++ developer with 23 years of experience in the industry. I have experience in Desktop, Embedded and Mobile development. I also did some back-end work and even some reverse engineering, though that was a while ago. I also have some ML experience (PyTorch) - also a while ago, but not that much. Most recently I've doing 3D graphics (simulation and later maps). My Linear Algebra is quite decent - I use it regularly.

My preferred next career move is independent contracting. 6-12 months contracts ideally. I will also consider permanent fully remote positions, but only quite senior ones - Staff Engineer / Architect level.

I've been fully remote since 2018 and I intend to keep it that way.

Currently building data analytics platform for agricultural customers; previously connectivity/control/update for IoT devices. I think I'm good at understanding and adapting to a new business domain, and enjoy that learning opportunity. I believe we build better software with a better understanding of the context it operates in.

Have done & can do full-stack work (helped current company grow from three engineers and through acquisition) but lean towards backend/infrastructure in expertise. Currently platform technical lead (IC).

MEng EE & CS blend. (No professional EE experience, but somewhat maintained as a hobby.) 8y post-intern experience in web software.

Looking for something new to sink my teeth into in an organisation with room to grow. Remote opportunities only please, and that I'm eligible for residing in the UK & as a British citizen, though I'm perfectly willing to travel for particular events/big meetings. Cheers!

I have 8 years of experience, and I'm comfortable working on both greenfield and brownfield projects. I do well with detail-oriented work. I have 14.7k reputation on StackOverflow and have answered over 300 questions there, mostly on .NET-related topics. (The link to my SO profile is on my CV.)

I'm looking for a senior full stack or senior backend role. I was unable to work following issues during the pandemic, which are now resolved, but I'm rarely getting to talk with anyone to be considered for interviews; AI rejects my CV outright. I'm stuck in an algorithmic prison.

Despite the length of break, my knowledge is current. If you need convincing of that, I recently got through the whole interview process at Moneybox for a senior backend role, which is pretty much the only interview I've had. Although they hired someone else, they spent a week trying to allocate extra budget to hire me. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and so here I am.

If you aren't hiring, but know someone who is, I'd appreciate you sharing my details with them. I can start straight away. If anyone has any advice to help break out of the AI auto rejections, I'd also appreciate it if you'd contact me via email. Thanks for reading.

Hi! As a passionate engineer in the beginning of my career, I am actively seeking opportunities in software development and adjacent fields. My areas of expertise include: DevOps--to help you secure and scale your business, Full Stack Web Development--to bring more accessible services to people, Linguistics--to localize products for new markets. Technology is my lifelong field of interest, study and practice, with focus on web development, localization, user experience, security and systems engineering. As for my linguistic background, it helps me see more ways tech is being used internationally to let me account for much more perspectives with my solutions.

About me: https://www.somaticbits.com

I'm a creative technologist working with AI, emerging tech, and interactive systems. I focus on fast, functional prototyping to test ideas through code.

I work with things like generative AI, real-time rendering, and intelligent interfaces. My strength is turning abstract ideas into working prototypes. I like early-stage work where you need to explore, test, and build quickly.

My background is in software engineering, creative coding, and visual design. I've worked with startups, agencies, and artists to help turn experimental ideas into real products.

What I do:

• Build prototypes using LLMs and generative models

• Add AI to creative workflows and tools

• Try out new interaction models and custom interfaces

• Design systems that mix storytelling, code, and play

• Work closely with teams to guide tech direction and try new ideas

I'm open to roles, consulting, or collaborations on projects that use AI to build new kinds of tools or experiences. If you’re working on something bold or experimental, feel free to reach out.
