Hello HN! I'm a software engineer with expertise in building desktop applications, system programming and low-level device management, with the background in cybersecurity and experience working in different environments: from large companies to MVP-stage startups.

For the past few years I've been interested in LLM/semantic search applied in the UX/productivity space, doing product design and user research in addition to engineering. As a result of this research I produced working MVPs, each of which implements a concept around proactive user interfaces: https://searchpad.ai https://shkur.ski/notai

I have open work permit in Germany and Canada, but can also consider a B2B contract.

Hi there, I'm Branko! I'm seeking a product or support engineer role in a startup/SaaS company. I'm a generalist who enjoys working across the stack, from front-end to back-end and everything in between - what I think Signal v. Noise would call a "manager of one" [1].

My background includes customer support in a tech startup and front-end development. Last year I launched my own product (https://gorby.app/) where I've experienced the full cycle of building, designing, and deploying. I'm currently working on expanding it with some AI features.

If you're looking for someone who can wear multiple hats and contribute to various aspects of your product, I'd love to chat!

Location: bay area (prefer eastbay)

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: Yes

Technologies: C (embedded/DSP), JS (both frontend and node), Python (DS/ML instrumentation, not an expert)

I've played with Verilog, Rust and Go enough to be dangerous.

Résumé/CV: Spent the last few years contracting, looking for fulltime work in order to start a family. 10YoE mostly in startups in the bay area, did a longer stint writing internal tools at an ISP.

Recent projects include:

- designed a ground up system for impactor tracking at 40khz

- ui for wind turbine data monitoring (getting a PLC to put a user-friendly UI on the network)

- tool for previewing LED control software in the browser that lets the user live-code embedded C and see a preview of the LEDs in realtime

- taught my plotter to do full color watercolor (brush tip dynamics compensation, a bunch of complicated color math)

- built a local vLLM RAG assistant (who hasn't) and a photo -> pixel art fantasy portrait pipeline, familiar with finetuning LLMs and diffusion models

Email: thot@thiic.cc

My ideal job would be as an early engineer somewhere that does hardware, I love writing embedded C and I have plenty of experience with frontend web dev, so I think my ideal position is somewhere where both skillsets can be utilized. I'd be happy to work on anywhere with a decent culture and interesting problems to be solved.

I'm looking for some serious full-time software dev work - I've played lead role before and I'm willing to do it again for the right crew, but I'd also be just as happy to just kick back and be a midlevel developer for a while. I just want to write code for interesting projects!

I'm a full-stack developer with 15 years of experience working primarily for consultancies (I worked for 3 years at a name brand Ruby on Rails consultancy). I've worked with a wide variety of teams, but do my best work on small product teams on early stage products. I'm particularly interested in companies building climate solutions.

My recent focus is on mobile projects using React Native and Swift. I'd love to help you build out your early stage mobile app!

I'm looking for full-time opportunities only, but am open to contract-to-full-time arrangements.

I'm an engineer with many years of experience in Silicon Valley, working in management roles, engineering, and consulting. My expertise is mostly in back end systems, working in the modern Go/Docker/Kubernetes ecosystem. In addition to working directly on large and complex code projects I also managed and grew engineering teams at various companies.

If you need help with specific technical projects, or are looking for management roles please feel free to reach out. I'm very familiar with both the unique challenges of scaling up startups as well as working to innovate in large enterprise companies.

Specifically if you need help productizing and scaling out various AI/Machine Learning/LLM systems this would be a good fit. I know there is quite a bit of demand in this area and a limited supply of qualified candidates.

Résumé/CV:

Would anyone be interested in Fractional CTO / or Tech Advisor (particularly useful for non-technical founders who want to build their technical team).

* I normally advise 3 early startups at a time (from seed to Series B), but one had an exit and another one is "mature" enough, so that I've got some free time for a new one.

* For Tech advisor role I only ask for equity (0.5% to 1%) stock options, with whatever vesting calendar, no other compensation. Normally doing between 1-3 hours a week

* For Fractional CTO, it would be up to 10 hours a week.

* Location: Remote, Americas Time.
