Hello! I am a undergraduate senior at William & Mary, looking for a full-time position in Seattle, WA or remote. I currently work in a bioinformatics research lab, using HPC technologies to study plant development and alignment-based metagenomic profiling. In this lab, I partnered with faculty and graduate students to develop robust data analysis pipelines and have experience with bioinformatics and genomic toolkits, databases, and scripting languages.

I've worked across a variety of domains (healthcare, geosciences, now ecommerce), I tend to take a generalist role, and I'm happy to work on back-office functionality that doesn't get much customer visibility. I'd be particularly interested in roles from firms in the finance/capital markets space.

I am a clinical psychologist (PhD, RPsych) with a research background in mental health measurement and the evaluation of questionnaire measures. I have a private clinical practice and do mental health and data science consulting. I founded a mental health software startup (now defunct). I am at my best working at the intersection of mental health professionals, data scientists, engineers, and leadership/management.

Current consulting work includes: (1) the evaluation and creation of mental health measurement plans for public or internal use, (2) designing and implementing internal testing and data collection to evaluate mental health or mental health products, (3) research and review of existing literature to support current or future mental health products or practices, and (4) acting as a managerial liaison among leadership, engineering, and clinical/mental health stakeholders.

I have experience working on large scale (7 and 8-figure) government-funded mental health initiatives.

My background is in education and music; I've worked on and off as a professional programmer and on my own hobby horse (distributed multi-party compute). Moved to the bay after DWeb camp last year introduced me to a dozen people working on off-grid, peer to peer communications and archival.

If you're working on something in this field then I'm very interested in working with you.

I primarily do interim/fractional CTO work. I ran a few companies (the biggest one I grew from 7 to 250 people) and consulted some others, so if you could use someone to:

- build or run a team/product (and find a replacement if desired)

- act as a right hand person / coach for an existing CTO or similar

- do some due diligence on a code base or team

- help you with an organisational or technical challenge

drop me a line.

I'm becoming available again in May. More info here: https://dahlke.tech
