I'm a full stack engineer who likes to focus on UX. I like wearing a lot of hats and don't mind a little bit of early stage chaos. I more or less live in the browser, and have spent a lot of time with advanced capabilities like WebRTC, WebGL, Web Audio API, Service Workers, PWAs etc.

I'm currently open to new work in the Austin area, either with in-office or hybrid teams (I'm not open to remote opportunities at the moment.) If you're doing cool stuff with web technology, I look forward to talking more with you!

I've been working solo or in small dev teams (I would like to be a part of a bigger tech team for a change. Most projects are private but I can demo them if we feel it could be interesting.

If my nickname sounds familiar, maybe you saw it on other optics-making forums ?

Infrastructure/Systems/DevOps Engineer

Have been out of the tech world for the last 2-3 years (last job ended due to pandemic reasons, traveling and exploring another path since).

Looking for something fully remote and part-time, starting in January or February, through about July/August. I'm planning to move to Southeast Asia for about 6 months (meaning my timezone may be 12-14 hours off for a US based role). Posting here because this is a rather specific requirement.

My most recent role was at a small Seattle based startup as the sole devops/infrastructure/IT guy (AWS, Terraform, Python, Docker, Prometheus...). Prior was as a Systems Engineer at AWS on an operations team. Totaling about 10 years of experience, have worked in data centers and the cloud, along with a fair share of networking-related work. Linux experience closer to 20 years.

I realize the timeframe is a couple months out still, just hoping to get the ball rolling on my search ahead of time.
