Streak is a profitable, fast-growing company seeking product engineers who will build and iterate on features that enhance our customer experience.

Streak is an engineering-focused organization, so we continually invest in improving our tools, tests, processes, and technology. But we know our people are truly our greatest asset. We strive to build a culture where everyone is continually learning and growing. As a member of our small team, you will meaningfully impact all parts of the company, from the direction the company is going, to the products we develop, to the people we hire.

Competitive salary, healthcare coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and benefits for things like Uber/Lyft, ebooks, and streaming.

Hiring:

> Product Engineer - full-time, remote (North America)

Your day to day will include:

> Building new features and functionality into our platform. > Assessing what to build now, later, and in the future. > Refining existing features to make them more reliable, functional, elegant, and easy to use. > Receiving feedback from your team and your users every single day. > Working with and learning from talented colleagues who have solved some of technology's most demanding problems. > Developing fun stuff to delight our users. (We've already done a lot of the tedious foundational work). > Selecting new colleagues by participating in the hiring process.

We are excited about you if:

> You have experience working in a production environment in JavaScript/TypeScript using modern frameworks like React. > You’re comfortable working in cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services. > You’re passionate about shipping new features to our users as well as supporting operational and support teams. > You love working with a team to accomplish difficult tasks and do what it takes to help that team achieve its potential. > You have experience leading a project from start to finish, working with cross-functional teams to own development from ideation to production.

SevenFifty Technologies | Frontend and Full-stack | REMOTE (US) | Full-Time

SevenFifty is looking for experienced frontend and full-stack web engineers to build applications and infrastructure for our platform which powers much of the beverage alcohol industry in the U.S.

We are U.S. based but fully remote, with a growing engineering team of 20+ people. Our web apps are built on Ruby on Rails and CoffeeScript/React, though if you're familiar with other modern web frameworks you definitely don't need specific experience with these to apply. In fact, if you're not sure whether you're qualified, we'd encourage you to apply anyway as we very much believe that skill and talent do not always map 1:1 to credentials or years of experience.

Our heavily established B2B SAAS platform aggregates data from thousands of companies across the country and aims to be the source of truth for product content in the industry, enabling product listing, advertising, sales, and insights from importers and suppliers all the way down to individual bars and retail stores.

See more info and apply:

Full-Stack Engineer (Data Platform): https://www.builtinnyc.com/job/engineer/data-platform-engine...

Mid-level Web Engineer: https://www.builtinnyc.com/job/engineer/mid-level-web-engine...

Or feel free to reach out to me directly at mikew (at) sevenfifty.com if you have any questions.

Shipyard (https://www.shipyardapp.com) | Growth Marketing Lead & Full Stack Engineer (React Focus) | Full Time | REMOTE (US Only)

Shipyard empowers Data Teams to quickly launch, monitor, and share data solutions without the headaches of managing infrastructure. We're a cloud-native workflow orchestration platform that's taking the best parts of tools like Airflow, Luigi, and Prefect to create something that's streamlined and easy to use for everyone on the data team.

The Growth Marketing Lead role will focus on spreading the word of Shipyard through content, advertising, PR, and other methods. If you love experimenting, moving quickly, and uncovering the best tactics to scale traffic/interest in a product, we'd love to hear from you. Bonus points if you're passionate about data usage and automation.

The Full Stack Engineer (React Focus) role will help drive product feature development, ensuring we can react quickly to customer and market needs. Initial projects may include things like building a visual workflow editor, creating a system for credential management/reusability, or code parsing to improve setup speed. The role will focus heavily on creating a seamless experience for users. If you love building products with React and are comfortable doing some backend work (Go), we'd love to talk.

We're a small startup with the financial backing of a larger company, aiming to achieve rapid growth over the next year. Our back-end technology stack is built on AWS/Docker/Terraform/Postgres/Redis/Go with the front-end built in React.js/Redux/Ant Design. Join a smart, rapidly growing remote team and make an early impact that changes the way companies manage their data operations.

If you're interested, apply directly through https://apply.workable.com/shipyard/. Feel free to shoot a note to blake@shipyardapp.com as well!

Streamline Genomics | Multiple positions | Remote | https://streamlinegenomics.com

Do you want to build modern software systems at the cutting edge of cancer medicine?

We're creating the precision oncologist's computational toolbox: from data pipelines that sift through tumor genomes and filter and visualize mutations, to collaborative knowledge curation (think wikipedia, but for cancer genomics). It’s still the early days for us and there are plenty of high-impact challenges to solve!

Prior knowledge of biology is not required, but keenness to learn is.

We're a remote-first team with a timezone preference for the Americas. We're hiring for multiple senior positions (Backend, Frontend, Data/ML, Infrastructure/Security): https://angel.co/company/streamline-genomics/

--------

About you: You can comfortably debug across the stack and through system boundaries. You've been around the block and have your ideas about designing for security and performance, leading software projects, and evolving team processes.

About us: We have backgrounds in CS, medicine, and bioinformatics but we're primarily a software team and pride ourselves in our craft: We move fast and iterate, but write tests and have a QA protocol. We enable engineers to run with good ideas and ship, but we write design docs for risky projects and run retros after the fact. All our systems have CI/CD and our release cadence is as fast as we can build.

Current stack: Python 3 (Django, Flask, numpy, asyncio, pytorch), JS (node, d3, React/Vue), relational DBMSs (MySQL, Postgres, SQLite), docker, AWS, terraform, GitLab CI/CD.

Write to us: work [at] streamlinegenomics.com

Our interview process is very simple:

- quick zoom call, discuss past work & future interests
