Súper | https://www.super.mx | Mexico City, Mexico | Senior Elixir Engineer | Full time | REMOTE

At Súper we build insurance for the millions of uninsured Latin Americans. We're working on earthquake, health and life insurance that doesn't suck. Instant payments, no claims, super simple. If you want to work on a problem that can help millions of Latin Americans be better prepared for when things go sideways, Súper is the place to be.

The job: You'll join a small, very tight-knit team of solid Elixir engineers and world-class Elixir mentors. The job is pretty simple: we like to ship. Lots of features. Preferably not that much code. Keep it simple.

Requirements: Experience building software in Elixir/Erlang. This could be as a hobby/side project, but in that case you should have 5+ years professional development experience (in any language). You're very proud of your code's readability and style. You like to write as little code as possible. You think in terms of (internal) APIs.

Pay: top of market for Mexico/LatAm. 60th percentile USA.

Monograph | Senior Rails Engineer | Full-time, REMOTE in US

We do 4-day (32 hour) work weeks at Monograph, and we've been doing it for 3 years now. I believe we're one of the only companies in SV that are advocates for working less, but more productively. We only have one engineering/product meeting each week and then everything else is heads down work (or one-on-one pairing).

To learn more about our engineering culture check out our Key Values profile: https://www.keyvalues.com/monograph (Lynne is a good friend!)

We're currently looking for a senior backend engineer (ideally with some production Rails exp) that is interested in building resilient, flexible systems for a thoughtfully moving startup. If you're interested in the built environment (architecture) that's a huge plus!

Here's the full job description: https://monograph.io/jobs/senior-rails-engineer

Reach out directly to me (head of engineering) and mention the HN post: moe at monograph dot io
