I know I'm not an exact fit here as I'm not an engineer but big HN user so I thought I'd post. I'm currently doing some public service as a fellow advising a member of Congress on tech policy. Previously I was an early sales hire at a marketplace startup focused on AI projects, led a team for the Estonian government, did some consulting/advising on projects related to new cities, novel visas, and defensetech in Africa, Colombia, and Eastern Europe, and was early at a YC/Andreessen backed co (also a marketplace focused on doing custom software with a network of freelancers). I'm looking to jump back into tech, either at a larger company in a Chief of Staff or strategy style role where I can still be a firefighter and person who does a little bit of everything or at an early stage company where I can be a nontechnical generalist. Looking for something more impact focused (e.g., American Dynamism, climate, ways to bring people out of poverty, and energy).

Now I'm looking to get back to a startup and lead/build a product marketing function for folks solving interesting problems. Bio: I have a bias towards action and building things. As a developer, architect and team lead, I get my hands dirty throughout the entire process. From ideation through development all the way to production and support. I'm the guy that can take a small team of engineers and in few months build a product you can trust is reliable, secure, stable and sellable. Hire me and unleash my potential, you won't regret it.

Imagine deploying highly tested, secure and scalable code rapidly to meet your business' ever increasing needs. Imagine working with a professional that works at all levels of the stack, from building the APIs, setting up the infrastructure to working with designers to implement your vision. From clean & secure code to building robust solutions that can scale up quickly, that's exactly what I do. From working as a solo contributor, lead and architect to managing teams of a dozen or more developers; I can help you build your tech organization to help you achieve your digital goals.

I can help you pull the right levers to get your application running smoothly, fix your compliance issues and secure your customers data. I'm part cyber security engineer, architect, devops engineer and developer.

Hi. I'm Craig. I'm an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Systems Architect and Microsoft Certified Professional with a passion for software development.

I work primarily, but not exclusively, with Microsoft technologies and the .NET / .NET Core frameworks, leading complex and challenging enterprise software development projects to successfully deliver robust, secure, scalable and efficient software solutions, encompassing over 20 years of experience in the field.
