QAware | Frontend, Backend | München (Munich) / Mainz, Germany | Full-time, Part-time, INTERNS, ONSITE

QAware is a project house with ~180 employees, creating value for enterprise customers like BMW, Deutsche Telekom, Allianz and more. QAware was founded in 2005 and is very well funded.

We are continuously ranked among the top employers in Germany ([1], [2]) - in 2021 we are ranked 2nd in whole Germany and 1st in the IT sector of whole Germany. For more perks, see [3]. I'm already working there for close to 9 years, as my managers are treating me very well and the projects are (most of the time) interesting. We have a great WFH policy (even before COVID) and we don't have open plan offices!

Technologies include (modern) Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, React, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, JavaEE, Quarkus (of course not all in one project - the technology choices differ by project). At the moment I'm working extensively with Kubernetes and Spring Boot on Java 11.

Office in Munich is close to public transport "Giesing". Office in Mainz is near public transport "Römisches Theather". Office language is German.

We are currently looking for IT Recruiters, Cloud Platform Engineers, Software Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, Software Architects, Project Managers and IT Consultants. If you are interested, take a look at our jobs page: https://www.qaware.de/karriere/#jobs. If you need more convincing, take a look at our recruiting landing page: https://info.qaware.de/senior-software-engineer For questions, just contact me at sebastian (dot) macke (at) qaware (dot) de, I'm happy to answer them. Please don't send CVs to me, I'm just a mere software guy.

Dispute | Content Marketing Manager | Remote (global) or in-person (San Francisco, CA) | Full Time | https://getdispute.com

Our mission is to build a more equitable society by democratizing access to justice. We're starting by enabling anyone to easily file a small claims lawsuit online, and plan to expand to more and more areas over time. We started this company after experiencing how utterly difficult, discouraging, and complex it was to file a small claims lawsuit in a personal case. We don't want to flood courts, but we do want to create a path for normal people to resolve their disputes quickly and effectively. We believe giving people these tools will encourage everyone to behave more fairly over time.

We're hiring for a Content Marketing Manager because the greatest value we provide our users is educational material so they can do it themselves. Go ahead and search for legal questions and see how poor the results are. We want someone with experience managing a team of technical writers to create high quality, accurate content, not search spam. You should:

- Understand how to build a content pipeline resulting in original, high quality, researched pieces

- Know the basics of SEO - our content should be readable by humans and machines

- Have excellent reading, editing, and writing skills - humanities majors are encouraged to apply!

- Be interested in learning quickly - most of our team has not worked in tech before, and we encourage those interested in making the shift to apply, as long as you're open to learning :)

Most of our team comes into the office daily in San Francisco, but we also have several folks permanently remote all over. We're flexible. We pay market based compensation (calibrated by San Francisco and Los Angeles) and great benefits. We can legally employ you anywhere you'd like to live.

You can apply by emailing / messaging one of the founders (check out https://getdispute.com/contact).

Spot | Full-Stack Engineer, 3D Engineer | Seattle, WA (US-remote ok) | spotvirtual.com

Help build your ideal remote working experience. We are building a virtual workplace inside the browser that bridges the gap between being remote and being in-person. If you are interested in game dev, this is probably the closest thing that comes with a web dev salary. Our team is small, but experienced, and this would be a ground-level role that would provide an opportunity to help shape the technology and company in a really foundational way. Our founders are experienced and most recently founded a Seattle startup that has achieved unicorn status.

Our stack is Typescript, Babylon.js, React, Apollo/GraphQL, and Nest.js. Everything is built on top of AWS using modern tooling and automation (e.g. pushing a commit will trigger a deploy). We are looking for someone who has some familiarity in the tech stack and is excited about the space. This position will be remote, but the ideal candidate will be one who enjoys/misses many aspects of a physical workplace.

Email apply at spotvirtual.com or check out https://www.spotvirtual.com/careers/
