The UX of NotePlan is amazing. It is very easy to start using , but It is much deeper and more elegant than you may assume if you only for a week or two.
The more you use it the more it will reveal its power and flexibility
It is one of the only products I know of that is fully committed to a being a bunch of markdown files as data while also using lots of database smarts.
NotePlan makes a point of interop with Obsidian

Yes, NotePlan is a paid subscription. But they have honestly figured out how to make you pay for their experience and not locking up your data.
While it works best on macOS, iPhone and iPad, their recently released Web App is making great strides in feature parity.

#14Recently I've been using iAPresenter [1], which lets you build presentations using Markdown. I actually use it to create branded PDF proposals for clients and it makes life much easier than having to use Google Slides, Keynote or Powerpoint. Glad to see Dropshare (my app) as an example for data ownership here. :)
While we had our own cloud storage provider for a while, Dropshare was always about "bring your own storage", because I sincerely believe in the importance of "owning your data". The first supported storage provider in the app 10 years ago was SCP over SSH (basically "bring your own server").
