#13Enjoy the break. They'll be back. There are various features on the search functions on LinkedIn, and most recruiters know that nobody quits the job they just started.
There’s really no point to being on LinkedIn if you aren’t in an active job search. Unless you really feel the need to be bombarded by desperate recruiters and to see whatever “inspirational” cat meme the secretary from three jobs ago is posting..
I understand though that in most cases and most of the time LI is closer to your experience.

#14You are onto something and if you haven’t tried to get a job lately you might not fully understand what OP is getting at here. I have similar worries. I used to get more recruiting inbound and I can compare to equivalent colleagues of mine, the amount of inbound interest they get. Long story short: Women and minority candidates get way more interest than I do despite similar qualifications and background. That is dee…

#20My guess is that recruiters know not to spend their time trying to recruit someone who just started a new job. I suspect you'll start seeing those emails again in ~3-6 months (around the time when people who start a new job are deciding if they really want to stay with that company), and again in ~2 years (around the time when people decide to look for new opportunities).
