ML itself is complex. On top of that, GitHub is not built for collaboration of ML practitioners. We designed a delightfully simple integration, architected a massively scalable, declarative platform.

One of our founders sold his previous company for 500M USD, the other is one of the top VC partners in Europe. Our engineering team is a mix of top engineers from Palantir, Revolut, Google, eBay, Wise, Improbable, Coinbase, Amazon, DataRobot, among others.

Amy.app is an digital private tutor for math that makes learning math easy for everyone. She does this by giving students feedback and automatically filling their knowledge gaps as they solve problems.

We are a well funded New Zealand startups with about 20 employees (3 people code at the moment). We target enterprise companies to use Amy.app as their "brain" behind the teaching. To facilitate that, we try to build everything around reusable APIs so partners can built their own experience on top of Amy.app.

Since we are an education company, we are happy to educate Juniors to become Seniors.

Stack: Typescript React, Nodejs, Express, Firebase-Firestore (NoSql), PostgreSQL

Requirements:

- Experience with modern JavaScript (uni/private projects are fine)

- Experience with some backend language/framework: Nodejs/express, python/flash, etc.

- Understanding of basic web technologies and web behaviours (eg.: HTML, REST-API, etc.)

- Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals. In particular graphs and trees algorithms.

Nice to have

- Experience with any modern JavaScript Framework (React, Vue, Angular, ...)

- Experience with testing frameworks (Frontend/Backend, unit/integration)

- Experience working on a remote-first/ distributed teams

- Enjoys Mathematics or a similar problem space

We have some of the worlds best financial data, and have been serving that up to our clients (hedge funds, big brands, etc) since 2009. We are at the beginning of a massive initiative to rebuild some legacy platforms from the ground up. Our new platform will do highly dynamic and configurable analytics dashboards, charts, custom alerts, all kinds of exports (CSV, excel, API, custom, etc).

We are hiring web engineers to build this, as well as maintaining and building new data collection engines. Tech stack sits on Google Cloud and is primarily ClickHouse, modern PHP (Laravel, Swoole), Python/Flask (legacy platform), React. We need both backend and frontend engineers, so wherever you fall on that spectrum, we have a place for you. I am the hiring manager on these, and will make sure the interview process is a quick one.
