Hey I am Johannes and I talk to humans and machines!

I grew up with the internet, uploaded my first websites to geocities, was tech-admin of a lot of bulletin boards and have been doing professional code since 2003. After trying to build my first start-up in 2006 I realised that they just won’t come only because I built it. Therefore, I have a bachelor economical psychology, which helps me immensely with team leadership but also allows me to view the product from multiple perspectives.

I have 7 years of hands on (mid level) CTO experience but am also a senior software architect with a hard fable for DevOps and kubernetes at heart. I started working when Servers where still mostly dedicated, have lived the revolution of virtual servers, made a short stop at serverless tech and am now invested in the kubernetes ecosystem and its containers. My preferred cloud is AWS, but I also like to tame bare-metal and everything in-between.

Application wise I have deployed and built everything from frontends, backends, APIs, daemons and my preferred languages of choice are now golang, JavaScript and PHP. I can pick up a new stack easily and am usually the member of the team who can quickly jump between stacks as well as their languages and takes care of the serverside of things.

I just recently graduated(Although I am a recent graduate I consider myself a quick learner and my passion to get my hands dirty in data ensures that I would perform my jobs with due diligence and interest.

I have been working at Siemens PLM Software for 7 years now, and I am looking for somewhere that I can have a bit more of an impact.
