I'm a senior software engineer with over 8 years of experience. I've worked with startups, big companies, and even co-founded a few business. My main focus is on backend development with Python Django but over the years I've touched many different technologies (React, Objective-C, C#, C++, Go, WebRTC, etc.).

I love to solve hard problems in simple ways and to get from zero to one as swiftly as possible while not sacrificing quality. To achieve this I always try to deeply understand the business perspective of the product and identify the most important areas to focus on. The combination of management and deep technical skills is what I feel is my biggest strength.

I am available for a fixed term contract (up to 3 months) which may be a perfect fit to build your MVP or help your startup right after seed round before you scale up the team. I have been employed in software development for almost 10 years and have written code for significantly longer. I am a deep specialist in databases and a good generalist in most other areas. I built myself as a T-shaped developer. I have worked databases, back-end, front-end (web and native, mobile and desktop) and testing throughout my time. With databases, I have experience with everything from relational algebra theory (I studied C.J. Date) to database design and normalisation to query, procedure and index optimisation. Throughout my career, I have developed a systemic viewpoint and an ability to understand how different components of a project and different teams interact together, all in order to walk the path of technical leadership. As a true engineer, I understand the importance of measuring before changing. Also, I am a sociable person and I have a teaching degree and have taught on numerous occasions with excellent results. Due to my experience, I am currently aiming for a software architect/engineering manager/team lead role, or a role with growth opportunities toward a similar tech leadership position, a position in which I can grow and polish the skills of colleagues.
