Internet in Germany. It's slow and expensive. I hope Starlink will disrupt this industry.

Probably the web browsers. (I had some ideas of better ones, but they don't have it.) Some browsers (such as ELinks) have some good ideas, but many don't, and they are also incomplete in many ways.

Google search is abysmal. It ignores most of my keywords and doesn't support literal keyword searches anymore.

Search and Gmail seem to be first-class citizens, but almost everything else seems like it's in maintenance mode. I also know from friends who work(ed) there that Google's culture rewards things that are new, not improving existing products.

Google Assistant is a particularly egregious example of a product that has gotten worse over time.

This. I've been a paying Evernote user since 2008. I realized the other day how frustrating it has become to use. Like my windows just turn black, until I restart the app. Also seems the UI is not as easy to use as it used to be.

Recently I've been seriously considering switching to OneNote.
