Developer with 20 years experience. Last 5+ years mostly focused on the crypto industry. Most recent role was a real-world asset (RWA) startup tokenizing collectables. I Initially joined the company as a Senior Solidity developer to help finish their on-chain assets. Ended up re-writing company’s smart contracts and filling the role of Lead Developer. Also led the migration from a bespoke NFT marketplace to building on Seaport, the technology that powers OpenSea.
Currently seeking a lead or senior role with a team building on the blockchain, but open to other industries as well.

Experienced and passionate staff/senior software engineer/team lead with over 15 years of professional experience, specializing in backend development using Go, Ruby/Rails, and more recently, Elixir.Have become quite proficient in creating distributed, event-driven, reasonably-sized services, data ingestion pipelines, and performing DevOps tasks, including building CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud services (AWS) with Terraform. Also quite solid in Docker, Linux, and platform engineering.
Check out a demo of my work at https://github.com/okulik/geo-ip-server. It’s a production-ready geolocation service written in Elixir that maps IP addresses to geo data. It imports big CSV files into a db, caches db queries, and is deployed on fly.io - all the good stuff.
Seeking remote work from Croatia/EU, full-time, B2B contracts (DTTs with most countries), or traditional employment (EOR), in Europe and US time zones (with up to a 4-hour EST overlap).
Feel free to email me for a CV.

I'm a fullstack software engineer with strong fundamentals in programming and web technologies. I enjoy thinking about infrastructure, networking, and data. I consider myself a generalist when it comes to tech stack—I'm proficient in multiple stacks, and I enjoy picking up new tech to solve a specific problem. My biggest strengths are that I love continuous learning and I enjoy the process of solving hard problems.
Most recently, I worked with a remote team to develop a framework for testing microservice API integrations. If you want to know more, I authored a technical case study exploring the problem space and our solution: https://signet-framework.dev/case-study
I'm looking for a new opportunity—feel free to reach out if you think I may be a good fit for your team!
