#6it's a good default because you really do get prompted incessantly without it. and since plenty of people are going to be using auto mode anyway, might as well make it as widely-used as possible so that you can focus on making auto mode safe.

#9I've been running Claude Code with --dangerously-skip-permissions in a Docker container for the last month or so, allowing me to get up and stretch my legs while it does its thing. I definitely wouldn't want to run it unsandboxed.
