Mate this is an extremely poor observation. Politicians on both sides of the political spectrum are heavily pushing these kinds of bills, and it's people with this insane fixation on "leftists" being the problem are often unwittingly the biggest proponents of the surveillance state.

Why is my heavily Republican county implementing an Acxion surveillance state then? They are about as MAGA as it gets around here. Must be the secret leftists.

#6it should be carefully noted that ALL of this legislation is bieng built on baseless specuation and the triumphant sloganism of "saftey first", by the moneyed class, much of which isn't Canadian in the first place, people who are "lifestyle refugees" with very good financial planning and asset management, and now having co opted every legislative level they can get access to are getting ready to try and institutionalise everything.
running there surveillance aparatus will require experts, who cant be Canadian due to the sudden "security situation" requiring large numbers of trained people unavailible in Canada currently and therefor can be depended upon to excercise there new authority with great dedication and energy.
The net result is very likely going to break this country as we are consumed from within.

Why during Covid did Liberals attempt to not only force everyone to get vaccinated (or they would get fired from their job), but require a vaccine card to get into restaurants in places like New York city?
Why were there mass bannings on social media for people that talked about anything that differed from the government narrative on Covid?
Why did Silicon Valley purge all employees that supported Trump after Trump won in 2016?
Why did Countries like Australia have camps for Covid patients?
Why in New York city, did they release a list of addresses of all wealthy people that owned homes?
Why does the left always want to expand the IRS? Do you think this isn't about control?
Why does the left always take control of social media sites like Twitter and always end up banning their opposition and suppressing the freedom of speech? Blue Sky is another example of this.
he left has always supported evil communist countries like China and Russia. I can't tell you how many people I met on the left that love support Mao. Bernie Sanders loved the Soviet Union. There is lots of evidence of this. It's funny how this was turned around during the Trump administration and forgotten. Mainstream people on the right don't support Hitler and I don't think I've met anyone that does.
It's because the left is run by activists and activists are petty dictators. When they have no power, they cry about not having rights and discrimination. When they actually have power, they take away the rights of people they don't like (which is the entire purpose of getting power).
One Republican county with a few flock cameras pales in comparison to the complete surveillance and control leftists always implement when they get into power.
