#2That chart does not show this data. Would be useful to chart it and see the progress (or regress) over the last, say, 40-50 years.
Posit: US vehicle sizes have dramatically increased over the last 20-30 years, which has resulted in more pedestrian (and non-driver/passenger) deaths.

#4While this may be true (that US road accident deaths have fallen more slowly compared to other rich countries), a true(r) apples-apples comparison is road fatalities per 100 million vehicle-miles-travelled (VMT). That chart does not show this data. Would be useful to chart it and see the progress (or regress) over the last, say, 40-50 years.
