I’ve ended up building a bunch of tiny apps for myself that I now use every day.

Along the way I’ve stumbled into some surprisingly useful, and sometimes non-obvious, ways of combining small purpose-built apps with AI. I’d love to write about what worked, what didn’t, and a few unexpected benefits I’ve found.

The funny part is I can’t quite figure out where that kind of post belongs here :) It’s not really a Show HN, and I’m not particularly interested in promoting the apps themselves. Is a regular text post appropriate for something like this?

I am working on yet another local code context tool [0]. But I am trying to go the extra mile by having extra features like better review, automated testing, performance work and everything being agent first. Still trying to find the gaps of where this tool can add value vs just using codex/claude directly. Making it faster, better & more reliable may not be the only direction. Apart from that, I have been tinkering with a lot of small experiments [1]
