This has been fixed - but be aware that VS for Mac requires 10.11 (el cap) as minimum

yep, we discovered that delightful bug as well. We've hotfixed it since. apparently the installer wanted people to practice the languages they've been putting off.

we shipped a fix for this Friday :)
