For me, DuckDuckGo replaced Google, FastMail replaced Gmail and SpiderOak replaced Google Drive. Some trade-offs, but nothing too painful.

Many of the suggestions on the site are sound. But yes, their front end and design make a poor first impression.

Looks like an alternative to TogetherTube ( https://togethertube.com/ ), just nowhere near as polished at this point in time.
