Tom Hadfield is a British entrepreneur who started his first company, Soccernet.com, in his bedroom when he was 12 years old. The company was sold to ESPN for $40 million in 1999. Most recently, Tom was the founder and CEO of AeroDesigns, where he raised $23.7 million in financing from Polaris Partners and Flagship Ventures to commercialize a new inhaler technology from the lab of Harvard professor David Edwards. He previously co-founded Schoolsnet.com, one of the UK’s leading online education websites. Tom has been named a ‘Global Leader of Tomorrow’ by the World Economic Forum in Davos, a patron of the UK’s National Youth Agency, and an advisor to the UK’s National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts. Tom graduated from Harvard University and lives in San Francisco with his wife and son.
