    "There are 2^1024 - 2^1023 = 9.0e307 1024-bit numbers" This is the count of 1023 bits numbers [(x - x/2) = x/2]. 0 is a valid leftmost digit.

    2^1024 is a lot larger than 2^80. The implication is clear.
