It's crazy how many of these tools have emerged in such a short period of time

The reason is pretty simple - enterprise software. Java provides a good enough mix of performance and flexibility to still be a competitive choice for large enterprises.

Some of them might be a little outdated, but overall it's a good collection of solid reading.

Mojo certainly looks promising. I just hope it will finally be released.
