I believe so. It's called "Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act" not "TikTok Ban Act", so it can be applied to apps like WeChat as well.

China has certainly beaten the US in banning websites like TikTok.

They are definitely aligned with the desire of autocracies. They may not realize it, but doesn't mean it's not the case.
