Starting a hardware company is definitely something that takes a lot of planning since there are so many components that go into it

I think what's important is looking at the tradeoffs - which shortcuts make sense and which ones don't?

There's definitely an argument for both sides. Having a cofounder to balance out the work is key but maybe it depends on the person/type of company?
