    * is a wildcard for everything in the directory including files and directories. so the chmod will remove the execute permission from directories also.

    I read it through feeds and keep checking every 3-4 hours. This gives me time to do others things as well. As of now, not very active in discussions, but trying to hop in.

    There has to be a blend between the command line and the GUI. Even keyboard shortcuts in applications are included in it, without which its impossible to work for power users.
