I have used ff on android with ublock for 5 years on an s20. It has been superb for me. The only complaint from me is that the bookmark page as "tile" doesnt work.

Im using KDE, and I don't really think its a big deal that there isnt a Qt build. I think FF looks great.

Have you tried Qt Creator? I think that is pretty decent.

How is it slow? I'm using it with a few plugins and speed has never been a problem.

Why is it eww? I found it to be a very nice solution to running a legacy OS on new hardware. I could probably use something else, but VBox with vrdp works great!

Why not write the whole thing in Python? Why bother with V8 and JS? Is JS considered a better fit for this?
