    PEX was originally developed by Twitter, and was used heavily within the company. Twitter ran primarily OSX (for devs) and Linux (for servers).

    I've found rclone 2-3x faster for large file transfers, personally. Switched off of sshfs after that.

    Mentorship and teaching are also valuable skills. Many good senior engineers would love to focus on them if their employer recognized it as valuable.

    They can only trade one month out of three. Specifically, they can trade immediately after quarterly earnings. This is pretty common amongst similar companies.
