    It could be a new type of scram jet, right? A normal jet engine has to slow down supersonic air to subsonic to combust it which is inefficient.

    Besides that you actually want your unit to struggle a little in order to have enough run time to control humidity. It’s actually a problem if you have an overpowered system.

    I found tower fans are a game changer. They are fairly quiet and move a lot of air. I prefer them to ceiling fans plus no installation and you can keep them when you move.

    If you space them out enough you wouldn’t have huge areas of no sun. It would emulate an ecosystem of water under shade trees. Shade actually attracts a lot of biodiversity.
