these copyright and patents are a huge hindrance to creativity. Now you cannot make a new product because somewhere someone has it copyrighted. I had at least 5-7 products in mind …

true that !! Its all about understanding and interpreting what you understood. It can be in any form ...not necessarily an algorithm.

Think of all those events (I wonder why, I wonder how) without thinking about their true confirmatory nature, you might find dissonance.
