I actually made this because we needed such a simple web page cycler for our office kitchen display. Out of curiosity, what kind of extensions do you use?

Indeed, I was kinda surprised to see the thing turning into a pissing contest towards the end.

I had a hard time trying to use irssi inside screen. On each new line it would refresh some 10-15 times and usually clutter most of the bottom half of the screen. Definitely still …
