How do you deal with an issue where engineering provides estimates but does not deliver even on their worst case? I agree PM/PO should never push. What if engineering is the issue?…

They are useful for getting wide company alignment but should not be used for any kind of performance management.

What area specifically do you need mentoring in? Is it more structural stuff like meeting organization and expectation management or soft skills like leadership and strategy?

I don't see how this is true, especially in engineering? My experience is that there is rarely a formal mentoring relationship but mentoring happens all the time.
