I'm a passionate engineer, using my career to build a better world, working to bring an end to factory farming by accelerating the alternative protein industry. At Prolific Machines, I build the data infrastructure that powers our science, and model, simulate, optimize, design experiments, and even adaptively control our optogenetic cell lines, i.e. using light to control biology.

Prior to joining Prolific, I led the team at Ark Biotech developing our bioprocess copilot — a simulation, optimization, and experimentation tool used by process scientists looking to accelerate and scale their breakthroughs from the laboratory to the real-world.

My career started in the electric vehicle industry — Renovo Motors, Tesla Motors, & Mission Motors — before founding the systems & modeling team within an internal project at Apple, and more recently, building the data team at Zipline — delivering medical supplies by drone in Rwanda & Ghana.
