    In my experience contracting for bigger companies you can be close to 100% billable by just billing a default 8 hours per day. Not counting the time without an assignment of course…

    You can definitely make close to that as a contractor / freelance web dev. I make about 85-90 per hour and should be charging more..

    Most timely is partly because they inflate the regular time. a 1:10 ryanair flight would be 0:55 on a normal carrier.

    ASML is prohibited from shipping its newest machines to China by the Dutch government, because of heavy US pressure. I'm sure China would love ASML to be fully based there.
