    Hard disagree on the syntax. ML languages to me have the best syntax and their ease of currying is extremely attractive.

    Microsoft also have Microsoft Research Cambridge. Where I am pretty sure they have Simon Peyton Jones who works on Haskell there.

    I personally don't see it that way. Usually the bottleneck is the database.
