It looks like a traditional SBIR/STTR announcement, but everything's handled by a company called ConnectWerx. More information in mid-August.

Same here. KiCad is great, but I miss EAGLE.

Cade Metz wrote about the Google-DeepMind deal in his book "Genius Makers", which I enjoyed a lot.

Exactly my response. I've never played anything like it.

I assume everyone who thinks We Built This City is the worst song of all time has repressed the memory of Achy-Breaky Heart, which got at least as much radio play.

I hope they bring back T. Herman Zweibel. Always found his editorials edifying and educational.

For an account of early Silicon Valley, "Accidental Empires" by Robert Cringely. It's free on his website ( https://www.cringely.com ), but you need to search for it.

I've been fascinated with the VESC project ( https://vesc-project.com ). I had no idea that controlling a BLDC could be so complicated.

Brings back terrible memories of taking Antenna Theory in grad school. I enjoyed basic emag, but the equations for antenna operation are atrocious.

Rather than present a separate page for each book, you might garner more views if you listed the books in each category with an associated ranking.

Love the music, but the movie itself is fairly mediocre

It's Jonathan Shewchuk, author of An Introduction to the Conjugate Gradient Method Without the Agonizing Pain. That guide saved me on multiple occasions. All the best, Jon.
