Well actually you can do it without even adding a remote. git pull https://github.com/otheruser/repo.git branchname so your example will become git pull fork@github.com pr-branch

Have you used tent? What has been your experience with it?

It's very useful. I noticed that it doesn't show Xcode in the auto-completion list, like it shows Visual Studio, Vim etc.
