Only thing I could think of is that you can transfer it from one computer to another quickly. And you don't need to create an account (like say if I transferred it through DropBox)…

Ah, that's a Mac font. I'm on Linux, but you should try a more general monospaced font like Consolas, or there's probably one on Google Fonts you can use.
