Computational biomedical scientist in academia, former software engineer in industry (8+ years, within finance). Never found the Valley too compelling given it is relatively easy to make cozy amounts of money, substantially harder to make a difference whilst briefly here on planet Earth. I have no clearly empirical answers on this conjecture but a fairly bloated bevy of thoughts. Don’t we all.
Definitely “just here for the comments”, which are effervescently intriguing. Likely stating the obvious, however.
