I’m sure the geniuses at the neighboring health authorities are perfectly capable of monitoring nearby conditions without falling back on federal intervention.

This is a local health issue, the local equivalent is doing the work here.

The state agency with the same mandate… which is what is already happening. No reason to duplicate that effort federally.
