To be totally honest, I don't think I can live without ZFS anymore. Deduplication and snaphots in 2026 are a must.

How come the same hardware that was $2000 is now packed under a different name and costs double - $4000?! It's literally the same PC that was twice as cheaper 6 months ago.

The main reason is that they are based locally, they charge in EUR, you can get the VAT back, and they are much more affordable than AWS.
