Sure, that's why satellite constellations were developed. The thing people might not appreciate is that it's still the main driver for these companies to develop them.

Mars colonization feels like a smokescreen for these sorts of programs considering what is actually being built. I heard Gwynne Shotwell worked on Brilliant Eyes for the Aerospace …

Um except they trained their machine learning algorithm on the same (small) data that they tested it on. 100% is no surprise.
