About brunchboy

I started out writing code in my parents’ garage in Mexico City, and when we moved to the US to finish high school, created my own word processor in 6502 machine language because I wanted my assignments to have proportionally justified text in arbitrary typefaces before the Macintosh came out.

These days I work in a variety of languages, most recently Clojure. I have a passion for building high quality tools and frameworks to simplify the tasks of other developers, and am privileged to work with some great ones in an environment where I get to continually learn new things.

In my spare time I enjoy mixing electronic music and producing light and laser shows, and have combined all these interests into Afterglow, my open-source live coding light show framework. https://github.com/brunchboy/afterglow#afterglow
