About brogapp
I built Brog as a paid showcase board for launches, milestones, personal wins, useful links, and stories worth noticing.
A lot of the internet currently feels dominated by AI news, automation tools, growth content, and algorithmic feeds. I wanted to try building something smaller and more human: a place where people can intentionally share what they are making, achieving, or learning.
The paid model is intentional. Instead of another ad-supported feed, Brog uses direct paid visibility. People can post things they want others to notice, and the platform can stay simple rather than optimizing for engagement.
There is also a social-good component: the plan is to use 30% of platform net profits to support charitable causes. Since this is early, I’m still working on the best way to make that transparent.
I’d appreciate feedback on the positioning, the paid visibility model, and whether the concept feels clear from the homepage.

Regardless of who's right, publicly targeting whistleblowers can have a chilling effect on future disclosures.

Peppermint came to mind while reading this. I'm curious which use cases you think Relysta handles better, and where the products differ most.

Thanks for sharing this. It’s a bit concerning that a consumer soundbar can receive unauthenticated firmware over BLE and then act like a BadUSB-style HID on the host. I’m not sure…
