Personally, I only appreciated the value of a walkable neighborhood after I moved to one. Now I _never_ want to go back. Cars and driving are awful

I use Google Messages. I assumed that was what you were using too. Messages settings - RCS chats - Send read receipts and Show typing indicators.

I find modern Java an absolute joy to program in. Kotlin doesn't solve any major problems I have with Java.
